Quite cool... and apparently based on a true story. This video made by Ogilvy Taiwan... for a bank, of all things.

Great music video for the Japanese band Sour, utilising fan's webcams from all over the world. Shot on literally a zero budget (that's right, $0.00), it's hugely creative and lots of fun. Article on how director Magico Nakamura put it all together can be found here. -- via we love you so

Brilliant stop-motion animation here from Tomas Mankovsky... very cool technique, sticking a stills camera to the ceiling. Stick around for the credit roll, which shows how a lot of it was done... the "making of" is also worth watching, if you're as much of a geek as some of us are. -- via boingboing, although it's all over the damned web, actually

...and who doesn't like a schlocky zombie flick, especially when it's told from the zombie's POV? Apparently, the feature "Colin" (clip here) was made for US$70... British indie director Marc Price apparently got his volunteer cast by advertising on Facebook for zombie actors, then had them bring their own make-up, costumes, props, and effects... clever.

This is a re-post from C. Slaughter. The math and their calculations have changed over time ("2 hours to download" and "5 dollars a minute"), but otherwise they got it quite right. I guess most other newspapers did not watch television in 1981???
