We Thought

Le Pan is a global fine wine and luxury magazine based in Hong Kong and London. It’s published six times a year in print and online in two languages. We were asked to create a film to launch the title to its English-speaking and Chinese audiences.

 

We decided our concept needed to do two things: convey Le Pan’s brand essence as a guide to “life lived well” and speak to the aspirations of an emerging affluent audience. We realised that we could do this through a brief history of wine.

 

We Made

We wrote, produced and directed a three-minute film, using a range of post-production expertise to bring historical paintings to life through animation. The live-action sequences where shot in Singapore which was dressed to look like a classical French café setting.

 

We Inspired

Our film opened Le Pan’s global launch event and has been used at trade fairs as the magazine’s brand film.
