My sister and brother-in-law run a charity in memory of their daughter, my niece Morgan Courtney Adams, who died of brain cancer in 1998 at age six.  Every year, the Morgan Adams Foundation runs various fund-raising events, with the proceeds going to pediatric cancer research projects at the Childrens' Hospital in my home town, Denver, where they live.

Every two years, they hold a fund-raising art auction, called artma, and this year it's happening on 06 February.  If you're in Denver or travelling there then, you can still get artma tickets... if you're interested in finding out more, check out the links embedded here... or you can just dive straight in and donate directly online.

Below is a video the Foundation made featuring some of the families whose kids have been helped by the research it has funded... and recently, the Huffington Post featured a nice little piece on artma.
