My sister and brother-in-law run a charity in memory of their daughter, my niece Morgan Courtney Adams, who died of brain cancer in 1998 at age six. Every year, the Morgan Adams Foundation runs various fund-raising events, with the proceeds going to pediatric cancer research projects at the Childrens' Hospital in my home town, Denver, where they live.
Every two years, they hold a fund-raising art auction, called artma, and this year it's happening on 06 February.
